Dr Angelopoulos is a Research Associate of National Kapodistrian University of Athens where he obtained his Dental and Doctorate degrees. His Diploma in Orthodontics and Master of Science in Oral Physiology were obtained from University of Toronto where at graduation he received the Aaron Posen award for excellence and creativity in the postgraduate program. He has received numerous awards including the Harry Sicher First Research Award by the AAO. He has been a co-recipient of European Invisalign awards in 2017, 2018 and 2021. His presentations are focused in aligners, self-ligation, and multidisciplinary orthodontics. He serves as a reviewer in many Journals including the AJODO. He has published in many Greek and International Journals. He is currently the elected vice-President of the Greek Association for Orthodontic Study and Research and of the Greek Orthodontic Aligner Society the co-editor in Chief of the Greek Journal of Orthodontics, member of the Scientific Committee of the Attica Dental Association, member of the committee for Orthodontics of the Central council of Health, Ambassador of the AAO and MOIP, and WFO councilor.

Dr Iro Eleftheriadi obtained her dental degree at Athens Dental School and her orthodontic specialty at Tel Aviv University.

She obtained a Masters in Medical Statistics at Athens University of Economics and Business.

She is recipient of Award of Excellence and Academic Achievements (Tel Aviv, 2017) and EMEA and APAC Align Research Award (2020), CEBI Customer Support (Align Technology, 2023).

Dr Ioanna Gidarakou received her dental degree from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Magna Cum Laude. She then completed her orthodontic specialty at Eastman Dental Center, University of Rochester, NY. At the same time, she received her TMJD degree and completed a 1-year fellowship on genetics at the Pediatric Department, School of Medicine, University of Rochester, NY. She pursued her PhD thesis on Class II growing patients at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Dr Gidarakou has been actively involved in academics, teaching pre- and post-graduate students, giving lectures worldwide and publishing numerous articles in prestigious orthodontic journals. Dr. Eleftheria Iris Michelaki obtained her dental degree from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Pursuing her aspiration to specialize in orthodontics, she received her certificate in orthodontics from the prestigious University of Washington in Seattle, WA, USA. During her 36-month orthodontic residency, Dr. Michelaki earned a Master of Science in Dentistry. She has authored several publications and her thesis project “Force decay in thermoformed aligner plastics” was selected to represent the University of Washington’s Department of Orthodontics for the 2025 Hellman, Sicher, Graber Research Award.

Dr. Jonathan Nicozisis completed his dental education at the University of Pennsylvania before attending Temple University for his orthodontic residency. During his training, he also completed an externship at the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where he was involved with the care of patients with craniofacial syndromes. Dr. Nicozisis is a member of the Angle Society and an Align Technology faculty member. As part of Align Technology’s clinical research network, he has helped conduct research and development of new improvements. He has given more than 400 lectures globally on advanced techniques with the Invisalign system and is the co-founder of The Aligner Intensive Fellowship course.

Dr. Moschos A. Papadopoulos is Professor, Chairman and Program Director at the Department of Orthodontics, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and Visiting Professor at the University of Vienna, Austria, and of Messina and of Naples, Italy. He was the founder and served as first President of the Balkan Association of Orthodontic Specialists and President of the Orthodontic Society of Northern Greece. Dr. Papadopoulos is Honorary Editor of the "Hellenic Orthodontic Review", was Asst. Editor of the "World Journal of Orthodontics” and is/was Member of the Editorial Board of 21 peer reviewed journals, and Reviewer for 47 journals. He is also active member in more than 23 national and international societies. Dr. Papadopoulos received several awards and distinctions (among others from AAO, AJO-DO, WFO, BAOS, FEO, GAPS, GOS, OSNG, HSE, and AUTh), and his main interests include the subjects of "noncompliance orthodontic treatment", "temporary anchorage devices in orthodontics", and "evidence-based orthodontics". She is the Past President of the Italian Society of Orthodontics (SIDO), and the Mediterranean Orthodontic Integration Project (MOIP). Currently, she is 2020-25 Executive Committee Member of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO), 2025-30 Elected President of the WFO, and Chair of the International Orthodontic Congress (IOC) in 2030.

She is member of the WFO, AAO, EHASO, EOS, SIDO, MOIP, CH Tweed Foundation, SIOCMF, and member of the Editorial Board of several scientific journals.

Prof. Letizia Perillo graduated in Medicine and Surgery in 1986 and specialized in Orthodontics in 1989 at the University of Naples Federico II. She completed her orthodontic training with a fellowship at the University of Michigan in 1993 and a Ph.D. in Interceptive Orthodontics at the University of Florence in 1997.

She is the author of more than 180 scientific publications, 8 books, and 10 book chapters.

She has been an invited speaker at international congresses in more than 30 countries.
Her main research topics are early treatment, non-extraction treatment, dentofacial orthopedics, cleft lip and palate, and genetics.

Dr Evi Stamou obtained her dental degree from Athens Dental School with a grade of 'Very Good'. She then specialized in Advanced General Dentistry and Orthodontics at Boston University (USA) and at Tel-Aviv University (Israel), where she received her CAGS certificate, Diploma in Orthodontics (Dipl Ortho) and Master in Orthodontics (MS). She received an award of excellence for the best clinical research at Tel-Aviv University in 2004. She has published in international journals and has presented at conferences in Greece and abroad. She maintains an orthodontic practice in Athens since 2004 and was also a part-time partner at Accessible Orthodontics clinic in Oxford (U.K.) from 2006 to 2008.She was the Secretary General of G.A.O.S.R association from 2018 until 2020, while from 2022 up till now is the Secretary General of GOAS society.

Dr. Ioannis A. Tsolakis earned his Dental Degree from Comenius University School of Dentistry in Bratislava, Slovakia, and received his Master's Degree of Science in Dentistry with specialty certification in Orthodontics at Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, OH, USA. Dr. Tsolakis holds a Ph.D. Degree from Athens University, Greece. He was awarded the Stanford Neuger Award in December 2015, and he has been a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics since 2016. Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio, USA, and a Research Associate at the Department of Orthodontics, School of Dentistry, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece. He has worked on a variety of research projects, including facial growth, Imaging in orthodontics, 3D printing, Sleep Disorders, and Artificial intelligence methods. He has published extensively in International and Greek journals. He maintains private clinical orthodontic practices in Larissa and Karditsa, Greece.

Professor Nikhilesh R Vaid is the President of the World Federation of Orthodontists and Editor in Chief of "Seminars in Orthodontics". He is an Adjunct Professor at Saveetha Dental College in Chennai, India and has a Private Practice in Dubai and in Mumbai, India. He has widely published and edited journals including the "Seminars in Orthodontics" on five occasions and was the Editor in Chief of " APOS Trends in Orthodontics" from 2010-20. He's currently EIC- Emeritus of the same. He's an active member of the Angle Society - North Atlantic component. He's published more than 170 peer reviewed papers and text book chapters and has lectured in more than 55 countries around the world. The important forums at which he has lectured include the AAO Annual Sessions, the International Orthodontic Congresses,ALADA,AOS,APOS and many more. Prof Vaid's current areas of interest are Evidence Based Decision Making,Technology,Aligners,Orthodontic Rx effects and Management Protocols. Dr. Voudouris is a Research Scientist and received his DDS in 1983 and DOrth in 1987 from the University of Toronto, and an MSc(D) in Craniofacial Growth Remodeling and Neuromuscular Activity in 1988. He has practiced orthodontics privately in Toronto for 37 years. He teaches Craniofacial Growth and Development at NYU and serves as an instructor at the University of Toronto. He developed Growth Relativity for Mandibular Growth Modification and authored the first textbook on Interactive Twin Self-Ligation, and 4 other texts including Aligners. He has received prestigious awards, including the Milo Hellman Research Award, and is a member of the Edward H. Angle Northeastern Society. Dr. Voudouris also developed the original In-Ovation-R, Experience Mini ,and original Empower Interactive Twin metal and ceramic Self-ligating (SL) Systems. Dr. EL Zoghbi (Dr. Z) earned his dental degree from the Lebanese University of Beirut and his Master’s degree in Orthodontics and Orthopaedics from the Paris VII University of France. After his speciality studies, he completed a 2 years research program on biomaterials in Orthodontics in the French National Health Research Institute (INSERM) followed by a four-year Associate Assistant Lecturer in Orthodontics at the Paris VII University giving lectures for Postgraduate students along with giving Orthodontic Clinical training at the Hotel Dieu de Paris hospital in Paris. He is established in his private practice at Choisy le Roi in the suburbs of Paris and has treated more than 1000 patients with Clear Aligners.
